Our Stop by Laura Jane Williams


Our Stop by Laura Jane Williams is a light and easy read; entertaining and brilliant book. It was a quick read for me. The storyline was simple and straightforward. This can consider as one of my best read for this year. The plot arrangement was brilliant. It was easy to guess for the ending but the surprise arrangement was creative and engaging. The book brought me back to my memories of watching my favourite movie - You've Got Mail. I felt so much happier and enjoying the moment reading the story.

There were so many characters played in this story and all were active. I like the way Laura Jane Williams makes every character played and connected their role. The process to reach the peak of the story is very detail and as a reader, I experience the excitement and fun in every movement of the storyline. Laura described her characters precisely.  For example; Train Guy, Coffee Stain Girl, train schedule and even the imaginary crowds were enlivened as if it was so real in this story. Enough said I love this book so much that I wanted to reread this soon!

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer is a literary historical fantasy novel written by the German writer Patrick Süskind. It is a genius and compelling book to be read by all. The novel is written figuratively and the story development is very engaging. The novel is full of sensory language. The synonym words like perfume, odour, scent, stench, stink are frequently used in this book. Even though reading required the eyes and the brain to comprehend the story, my nose would sniff in every part of the story told by Patrick Suskind in this book.
